I would bet they are going to do teaser photos today and tomorrow, and then a proper release on Thursday right before the NY Auto Show. I'm sure they will have the big reveal in private for the YouTubers, and then release it to the world at the Auto Show in NY.

So far everything has lined up with the EV concept from 2021, including two "troughs" in the skewp-less hood:

Yes, as noted earlier the design patent filings are to secure the rights for the exterior styling, as in they're done by artists not engineers, so the proportions are wrong and missing some details.

It's remarkable how many exterior features were already finalized in 2021, like the little lip spoiler on the tailgate cap and the tailgate popper on the tail light:

Can't confirm on the Taco but the Tundra has no key hole.

 

Most of the time it's a light for the camera. Could be a lock, but it's most likely a light. The lock un lock will probably only be on the smart key.

 

A full size is in your future! She has three boys (10/8/5), so I’m probably going to have to nix my Canyon order and look into a full size. I wish the new Tundra was more appealing

 

Most likely tailgate will have a power lock that will be controlled through you key fob
