I was 16 and mine was a 1969 chevy short bed step side 3/4 ton 4x4, no pics, sold it to a dude who just wanted it for the body and scraped the rest. What a fool.

84 Toyota pickup. Longbed "deluxe" model, 22R and auto. Bought it right after getting out of the Air Force. Bulletproof mechanically, only thing that killed it was the New Hampshire road salt.

I've always liked the old Fords. Just in my family we have four 73-79 Fords. Counting my uncles and grandparents I don't know exactly but probably around 13-14 total. I have a 78 that has 1-ton running gear out of a 92 and a 71 460 sitting in the shed that needs rebuilt and put in.

We have a few still hanging around but not 13-14 of them. It's a shame I sold that old truck. The kid I sold it to put some mud kickers on the back and ragged it out as his hunting truck. Last time I saw it every body panel had dents in it and the bumpers where ripped off. I'm trying to talk my Granddaddy into selling me his 79 F100 that is in showroom condition, it's not happening though.

I'm completely embarassed to admit this- but I can't find any photos of my first truck.

It was a 1999 Dodge Dakota- 5.2L V8 with a ProCharger supercharger pushing 9-12 psi to the motor. Made about 480 RWHP with about 468 ft-lbs of torque.

The very first time I drove it- I was test driving with the dealer manager- put it sideways across the interstate in 4th gear. I was sold at that point...=) It wasn't much for off roading...but the first time I walked a ricer...DAMN was I proud.
