I did pull the elbow. I am leaving the filter... There's still a lot of grit in the fender that it could suck in  years of wheeling and there's dirt and rocks all over on the truck.

Off-topic, but our Pep Boys has made the switch to service only and the retail part is now Auto Zone. Had no idea that was a thing until I needed a license plate frame the other day.

how much are you shooting for? 10psi would really spice up a 3.4

We don't even have pep boys here anymore, they pulled out of the PNW entirely. We are left with Napa, Orielly, VatoZone, Motion Auto, and Advance Auto now... but I find other than oil sometimes I just get everything from RockAuto

Yeah that was our only Pep Boys, at least anywhere close. Everything else is the same as you listed, except Motion Auto, not sure we have that.
I couldn't remember the last time I went into a parts store.
I think it was for one of those touch-up paint pens.

From what I've read I should be 7-8 with the 2.2. if I can get to 8 with the 2.1 I would be happy and really getting to the edge of the envelope for what the truck can do. 10 would be very spicy for a stock motor.

10 is only spicy for bad tuning like the 7th, 15 is the stock motor safety line with a decent tuning solution though. That said 10psi is asking a ton from that tiny SC (over RPM for that rotor pack) and with no boost cooling it is a bad idea

The 7th work okay but certainly has its limits. I compared a couple videos of my rolling 1-2 pulls and the summer one was noticeably more sluggish. Hadn't though about how much the heat is going to hurt this summer. At least the drag events are usually 8-midnight in the summer so ambient air will be below 100...
