lol had an old neighbor who used to laugh at my best friend and i working on our cars in the drive. would walk out to chat. one day brought us some really nice mason jars, said I see you boys out every weekend drinking sweet tea, working on your cars and truck. until one weekend she saw us running whiskey into the tea and lemonade. after that she would occasionally, come stop by or bring us a bottle of something. miss that lady.

My sister in law got us these rocks glasses. We do most of the remodeling on our house and other projects around the house. We re not professionals, so whatever the project is, it's not perfect. We don't care, and usually when someone is over and sees whatever it is, the conversation starts off with this; "we made it ourselves!" This preemptively stops them from saying something like "it's a bit crooked" or "is that door installed upside down?".

Nothing wrong with using mason jars. I use the smaller jelly jars for sipping at the fire pit or on the dock so I don't have to keep track of our nice lowball glasses in the yard. Also you can cover the jar when it's your turn on the horseshoes or cornhole. Everything tastes better from glass.

I believe bourbon is good just about anyway you decide to drink it. It’s even better with a Padron!

Not whiskey. Neighbor dropped these off on the porch. He goes to a lot of estate and yard sales. They all look very improperly stored. Can't imagine they still taste good. They might not have tasted good back then either.

Actually went on a cruise and they used maple instead of simple syrup and much better in my opinion!

I did use and orange peel but not in the picture, just swap the syrups and you'll be amazed! Also adding some sweet vermouth makes it pretty good too.
