    Consider yourself tempted

Lol fair enough, that's a valid reason. I wanna do a track day as well, but figured a supermoto class will help teach me some things the track won't, and I won't feel as bad if I have to take my first track fall on the company's bike, rather than my own lol. And if I don't fall...well hopefully I'll have gained enough confidence and skill to not do so when i take my bike to the track :fingerscrossed:

Tempting.... Is it for beginners? I've never been on dirt before.

Yessir, it's an introductory class to supermoto. First half of the day starts on asphalt only, second half of the day they start incorporating dirt. Dirt crashes don't matter to them, don't wanna crash on the asphalt though. A crash in the first half of the day means you sit out until the second half. a crash in the second half means you have to sit out the rest of the day. So just don't send it too hard I guess? lol. They provide everything(bikes, food, water, tshirt/hat, free photos of the day) even gear if needed, but strongly recommend bringing your own since they can't guarantee sizing.

Buddy who used to ride track and supermoto a lot strongly recommended I do this class first before a real track day on my bike.

If you sign up for their email list, they give you a code to get $30 off your first booking too. bring it to just over $300

Nice! Thanks for the info! I may have to join you. With my new Tacoma and the wife's new RAV4, I'll just need to see if I can free up some cash... Lol

I have everything, gear-wise, except armored pants. I'm debating spending a couple hundred on a pair, or taking the chance the class has my size.

I got some new waxed canvas bags for my Bonnie. I liked these because their not huge, perfect for daily use. I have a large rack bag if I want to do a trip.

I'm gonna give them another coat of wax before I install them. Then I'll get a pic of them on the bike.

Those burly bags are awesome. I had them on my radar before buying the roll-top Viking bags.

Hell yeah, let me know. which weekend do you think would be better for you? Also, what size pants are you? I have some armored jeans (knee and hip) that would probably suffice for their purposes, i've put on a bit of weight since I got em so they're a bit too tight...need to slim down but you could certainly borrow them. That said, I'd guess they're pretty well stocked, esp if we get their early since it's first come first serve

I have a full suit, so I figure I'll just wear that and deal with the discomfort. Can't be too bad since it shouldn't be too hot.

Doesn't mention anything about that on their website, think you'd have to email the guy. I don't think they'd be opposed since they sometimes have to share bikes depending on class sizes, but can't say for certain.

To anyone that has changed variator weights - how did you hold the variator from spinning when tightening the nut back on? Just impact it on?

I asked my buddy who recommended, he said they should be fine if you bring your own supermoto, and it should be a cheaper rate as well. So I would definitely inquire with the guy ahead of booking.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Out in the big twin today, ripping up the FSRs. Passed a sheriff on the backside of 197, on a long stretch of secluded freshly graded gravel.
I was moving and he didn’t have time to flick the lights, but I could see a smile sort of on his face. Brappp, was in 4th hammered down!

I appreciate the offer, but I'm on the heftier side myself, so they probably wouldn't fit. I've been wanting to buy a pair or two anyway, so might as well jump in!

I'm thinking the 16th will work. It looks like it's going to be high of mid-60s that day. When were you thinking of booking? I'm only asking because it says the group discount can only be applied if the 4+ riders sign up at the same time.
