That'd be shenanigans. They already jacked up 2020 shark fin locations to not work with the OEM roof racks.

Hope it's removable and not a permanent fixture to look like this. It just looks big. And a lot taller than others. :puke:

I thought the new Tacoma was going to be the biggest news of the day. Turns out the new Pretty Lights tour is taking the cake.

On the Tundra (and 4Runner/FJ) the fuel tank protrudes below the frame, so the trailing arm links aren't the only thing to get caught on obstacles...

I disagree. I think it will be offered but you might not see it at launch. Just like the new Frontier which IS available with a crew-cab long bed. Toyota doesn't want to cede any sales when they are the segment leader.

Don't forget Toyota's 'Trailhunter' vehicles coming out too. Should see a '24 Tacoma Trailhunter eventually.

With all the midsized pickups doing so well in the overlanding market, it blows my mind that some are choosing not to offer a 6' bed to sleep in. I really hope Toyota doesn't go that direction.

Those might come out later, I think it's more likely to see a DCLB over the AC. One of those things that I could see go either way AC or no AC. There's about 5 people who prefer AC myself included out of those 5 how many people are buying a new Tacoma annually?

Fleet buyers are already going with Frontier and Ranger because of price.

LOL Toyota lags behind the bar scared of change because it may hurt reliability. They are the last to get any creature comforts or upgrades for this very reason. Maybe they will have rotors and disk brakes in the 2024 model…..

It's all worked for them. Why change more than they have to?
