Any luck getting your orders from Drews Fab in Madera

Long story short orded a bumper end of Nov 2022. I'm now 6 months in for a product that was listed as 2/4 weeks out and I confirmed with him it's in stock on the phone. It has yet to ship, i'm curious if anyone has had similar issues. He has told me it's shipping at every week for the last few months and I am an Idiot for not going to CC earlier to dispute charges.

Update: after another text message asking for an update he sent me a tracking number today. *being that a portion of my job is logistics, just creating a label doesn't mean it's shipping.
It has shipped will update when it arrives

It arrived. Guess all I had to do was add a forum post. I wouldn't suggest this shop if you're not local. Let's just say its been shipping for 6 months according to him, meanwhile his Instagram is full of other projects getting done daily and bumper orders being fulfilled. If there are any doubters I have multiple months of text messages saying shipping etc. Also said for my patience I would get shirt / rear bumper (oh well) etc. Nope didn't arrive just the bumper. He asked if I wanted Valance mounted, I said yes. It arrived not mounted. It is a nice product but over all experience was horrible. lets see if it fits now.

 

I have another thread in Gen 2 forum. The bumper arrived today but the Mounting plates are 1/2" off. The proper way to fix is to cut and reweld back on.

Can you post a picture? I actually live in Madera so this would actually be beneficial to me cause i could go knock on the door everyday after he said it would be ready lol

Hey man, I’m having the same issues with Drew’s fab with the same bumper, purchased from him what I was told from him a bumper that was already in stock, month and a half later he has yet to ship it or give me any eta of when I will be receiving it, he was running a 50% off sale at the time so I figured why not, looked like a pretty cool bumper at the time and for 850$ shipped didn’t seem like a bad deal.But now hearing others stories and reading this thread I’m considering just asking for my money back and going with someone else.

 

I haven’t waited anywhere near as long as you did, but I don’t want it to get to that point.

Its unfortunate, I got an email Saturday night saying I am defrauding him and I need to send the bumper back. I will send it back as soon as the case is done and on his dime. To bad cause his stuff looks decent but that doesn't matter if the product is not what it is sold as.

 

I placed the order about 2 weeks ago. I sent him multiple messages on IG, phone call, and email, and he finally responded and sent me tracking info this morning. I literally bugged the hell out of him and he finally sent info. When I got on the phone with him, he said he was working shorthanded and did give attitude, but I figured I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and wait it out. Hopefully you received some sort of update!

 

That's great, I'm still in the dispute process with the CC company.

 

Damn dude. I heard nightmares about this guy too. When I spoke with him that one time, he was a total asshat too. I'm hoping the bumper at least comes and fits. So i'll keep this thread updated

 

Im good, no stress for me. Just waiting to move on when the CC dispute is done.

Drew had my 15 year old son’s 1997 T100 for 2 1/2 years here are the before and After pictures. My son’s grandfather passed away and gave him his T100 and a small amount of money he used to hire Drew’s Fab. Drew picked up The T100 December 2021 and brought it to his shop in Madera. Drew has stripped the truck of both stock parts and brand new parts that my son had purchased for Drew to install on the truck. My son has paid him over $15,000 and Drew will not return $5,000 in parts he kept. In June 2024, we finally had to go up and tow the truck home. We have all the invoices and proof of payment.
My son has a truck with the transmission and the engine in the bed of the truck, no front wheels and tires, no suspension and no money.
