If I wanted 700hp, I’d go buy a mustang or something. I’m driving a pickup truck man.

They just posted on their insta, "Stay Tuned".

    Also, "Just a little longer."

Maybe their server is also powered by an Atkinson Cycle.

One of your 13 Taco's matches mine.

Not real sure I should be surprised by that. It actually would be more surprising if one of your 13 Tacoma's didn't match mine lol.

Still beats my truck by about 25% sadly. My truck didn't come with a monster price tag though.

Seems we still might get something today. They posted the original photo at 4:44CT time today. So maybe some more teasers in a half hour or so.

"Keep your eyes peeled" and "Lips are sealed"

Has to be a front end shot at the minimum.

False, it loses about 1/3 of its efficiency in cold weather, and thats without it being parked in a garage, heater, etc. i.e the worse conditions. So that’s about ~40-45 MPGe

it’s not 2010 anymore man, you can’t just post EV fudd with numbers you pull out your ass and not get debunked instantly

Tumor... on a Tacoma? Wouldn't that just be called a "Tacoma"?

Just the angle of the pic. It seems that everyone has a small spoiler on the cab these days.

I understand where you are coming from. I’m just trying to think and talk long term / bigger picture for Toyota. When Ford is able to sell trucks that have 700 hp and 70 MPGe at a reasonable price (supply finally meets the extremely high demand. You know, the demand that’s so insanely high due to the supercar level performance with better mpg than a prius) they will dominate the market. They are currently positioning themselves to do so by Q3 2026. Toyota needs to wake up before they get left in the dust.

if the Ranger Lightning was available today for $35k it would destroy the midsize market and dethrone the Tacoma within a year. When suddenly 700hp and 70mpge+ is the standard at a reasonable price, ICE motors will be viewed for the mediocrity that they are. The writing is on the wall. Anyone who has actually driven an R1T or Lightning or p100D model S etc. already knows this….

Just another way to make sure toppers and campers aren’t transferable through multiple generations I’m sure. Unless you can remove it easily (hopefully).
