diff drop question

im putting a 1" diif drop on my 03'. the question is once i drop the diif an inch will my skid plate fit back on or do i have to do some mods to it. the skid plate is the one that came with the truck. 4x4 trd double cab. thanks!

 

the Diff drop kit comes with the spacers to reinstall the skids.

 

before I make a thread I have a similar question, how necessary do you think the front diff drop is if I plan to lift my truck 3 inches ?

 

Diff drops are overated... I had 3" lift for 2 years and not once had a problem, fuck em, they have bad angles oh well. 99% of the people don't wheel hard enough to have them break.

 

I was talking about Cv's themselves. And I replaced my boots with Allpoo's High angle boots, they work flawlessly.

 

alot of people say it does no good but after i put my eibachs and 5100's on my angles were quite bad so i went ahead and put it on cause if it didnt do anything it literally took 2 minuites to put them on once the skid was off, so no biggie to take it off later. but it actually helped me out a good bit and my angles went back to just about stock. I know after we installed trd7's lift his c axle broke about an hour later goin home and his angles were rediculous, so idk but for 10 bucks i wasnt going to complain if it didnt help me to much.

So would doing the diff drop on a 2nd Gen be worthless and a waste of time?
