    You got 2 options, fuck those guys and return the product so they can return your money and go to someone local that can build what you want. Or go with someone local to try to correct the mess and have it customized. At that point it’s gonna be a a hell of an expensive bumper.

    It’s kinda bullshit to get charged like what for this 1200+? And then only a thrown $100 to make things “right”.

    I see your standpoint like have buddy fix and wipe hands clean. I think I’d be a squeaky wheel and ask for a larger refund or otherwise issue a chargeback. Imagine being someone without some buddy to just fix it for free or cheap. Like what then you know? I feel like most shops could just then make you a new one rather than fuck with this thing. I don’t see any fancy frame horns or anything, just tube work.

    5 hours isn't all that far to drive if you really wanted to get this handled right. Drive there, keep your receipts for fuel costs, return it in person. It's really hard for a shop like that to treat you poorly when you are there in person. I would return it and have someone local to you build one. You are located near some of the best fab shops in the country being you are in SoCal.

    I get seeing a style and loving it, but with the experience in So Cal, replicating that bumper would be pretty damn easy; at least for a fabricator that's got experience in bending tube.
