I miss the XRunner. I miss MY XRunner. Imagine, if you will, if they made a limited run of manual only 2WD, street truck trimmed out Tacomas. With the twin spinny boy V6 from the Tundra? It would never happen because it would out perform their sports cars, all of em. But a man can dream. I wouldn’t even be mad if they called it something lame like GR Tacoma, GRunner, or Pro Runner. Just give me an on road sport truck again.

 

I just got off work… did anything happen or was it just a Gen 4 tailgate that was released?

It really will be the end of the world if Toyota pumps in a fake ass v6 noise into the cabin like they do on the Tundras with the enhanced V8 noisy thing.

Yea, that extra 2” in the cab of the Colorado is a welcomed amount, especially with your height. I wouldn’t mind if the truck grew slightly in width and length. Honestly, there’s really not much to complain about the truck. I’d consider this my dream truck. Takes us everywhere with confidence. Hasn’t left me stranded and has maneuvered our way out of troubles.

Let’s see what they did on the interior upgrades!

Really hoping they carry over a 6MT as well. This would be a huge determining factor in buying a new 4th Gen. Top of my list!
