Toyota sells more MT Tacomas than the total sales of the Sequoias. That’s not a market to ignore.

I dont understand why the Ranger does not have the Manual as it shares the same platform as the Bronco which has a MT, no extra engineering needed.

So my complaint has already been complained about? Great! Guess I'll just sit here until my next gripe surfaces.

The ranger does have a manual trans. Just not in America. Ranger was the first on the platorm. Bronco didn’t arrive until 10 years later

Hopefully they'll continue the manual and include a "6 Speed" badge on the back.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
Kinda related, the manual current gen Supra has their "Supra" badge in red instead of black.

Just like how the mid 00s manual Accord V6 has their "V6" badge in red compared to the usual black.

I've got a tote with 8 tracks around here somewhere! I knew they'd come in handy some day.

I remember when the new Bronco launched and Ford said no Manual trans option. The social media backlash that followed was brutal. Ford caved and said yes to the manual trans option pretty quick. :burnrubber: I'd love to drive the new Bronco one of these days.

I don’t remember that. Before the Bronco even came out, they (Ford) were boasting how the manual version was special because it had a crawl gear.

Don't worry guys the 4th gen will only cost upwards of 50k. Probably 60k for highest option TRD Pro.

Pretty sure they said no manual with the sasquatch 4 cyl Broncos but non-squatch 4-cyl could get the manual. They caved due to popular demand and started doing 4-cyl squatch packages with the manual the follow model year.

I agree with everything you said. We had a Tacoma and unfortunately had to get rid of it. Miss it for sure, but keeping it wasn't really an option at the time. We went to a lot of mountains and trails between Ga, TN, and NC. It just fit and maneuvered on the trails super easy.

I'd love a other Tacoma, but the new Colorados are slightly more roomy for my long ass. If the new Tacoma has more interior space, I might be one of the suckers getting the new year model and just living with new model year issues for a bit. Difficult decisions

Worrying about the turbo blowing in your daily driver is what people did in 1988. It's 2023 now. 35 years later.

    Food for thought.
