Evening everyone, getting blood work tomorrow morning at 7:00AM. No food as of an hour ago, I’m starving. Not liking this elderly stuff, it’s like having to act like an adult.:annoyed:

So what's the scam- do they try to make you buy everything that pull out of the freezer?

I picked up an aux camera/mic and it seemed to pass the function check when plugged into the laptop, but the recruiter didn't return my call before the interview so I couldn't do a 'test run' on Teams nor could I change the meeting to a video interview, it was strictly a phone interview. I didn't get an overly warm fuzzy feeling at the conclusion of the interview, but I also didn't get a bad feeling. Hopefully I will hear something positive back

I think to buy their low grade meat. I was also concerned that while one guy was keeping me busy at the door the other guy was stealing stuff from the garage.

Don't listen to Mike. He will keep putting the age above his. He will never be elderly.

    Grumpy, yes, elderly, no

It did reach 80* here. I was surely feeling every degree of it this afternoon.

One down and one to go...

Getting to 80 degrees today. Then there is a chance of severe storms late tonight. too many of these lately. Our power hasn't gone out, but in the last 2 weeks a number of people nearby have had that happen to them.

    Good morning all.

Been having some serious knee pain (left knee) for couple months, had my regular Doctor check it out, X-rays, she didn't see anything. Set me up a referral to an Orthopedic doc yesterday. They took more X-rays, Doctor came in said "well, bad news is the miniscus (?) is completely worn away, so you're getting the two bones closer to each other than they should be. The good news is, we can address this easily, no surgery needed. We can do a knee brace, and/or injections as needed."

I am no fan of needles. I told him "If they don't involve ink, needles are not my friend." He laughed, said "this ia a 25 gauge needle, it is so small, you can't even draw blood through it."

So, I got a new brace yesterday, will wear for a month, then come back for follow up, can decide then if I want to try an injection or not. He said "I can't see you needing actual surgery for at least 7 - 10, or more years out", which mad eme feel a good bit better. I've had 2 spinal surgeries, and my left hip 're-surfaced', not really in any hurry for any more surgeries any time soon.

But at least now I know what is causing the knee pain, and how to walk/stand in a better postural position to minimize it.
