Just a point of clarification. Mark Miller and Larry H. Miller have no familial relationship. Larry H. Miller’s widow sold their 70-ish auto dealerships a couple years ago (2021?) for whatever that is worth. Both families are definitely rich. One of the worst dealership experiences that I have ever had was at a Larry H. Miller dealership. Definitely not defending either of them.

I was able to get my vin from the dealership website under new inventory. It should show expected vehicles and you should be able to find a vin number for your truck.

Either way it’s cheap and petty.
So either Toyota is cheap or it’s a nickel and dime type thing. As if it would be some “favor” to request not paying for basic carpeted floor mats, I’m surprised I wasn’t asked to tip the sales person. upload_2023-4-5_6-51-18.png

car companies always been nickel and diming, look at the new subscription models for heated seats.... Honestly in this case, if you didnt get charged for the floor mats, I think you made out. If you really want factory, I'll trade you mine, I bet the weather tech ones are nicer, looked like they had bigger lips anyways, maybe better coverage overall...

    I respectfully disagree.

Pretty much every manufacturer lists floor mats as a cost accessory on the window sticker when they come with the car, just like any other factory or port accessory. If they were “included” it would simply increase the MSRP, because it would cost Toyota to include them. Either way, you’d be “paying” for floor mats.

Again, why is it your dealers responsibility to pay for an accessory that didn’t come with your truck simply because you *believe* it should be included?

If you go to Best Buy and purchase a TV and it doesn’t come with an HDMI cable you walk over to the cable section and buy one. You may think the cable should be included, but the TV manufacturer no doubt skipped the cable to reduce the cost of bringing the TV to retail. If the cable was included the TV would cost more. Nothing in life is free.

Focus on what a great truck you have and buy your Weather Techs. They’re better and less expensive than the carpet mats you’d end up discarding anyway.

Salvia Ace on its way to Newark from Jacksonville. https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9338876

Anyone else holding hope their trucks are on the boat even though Toyota tracker still says allocation? I'm part of the QC hold group that was released and Toyota says estimated delivery 4/11.

Hello @DragonPro23 - Can you check 3TYCZ5AN8PT129173 for me again? Build date was 1/26 and it was on hold up until recently. I do not think it has left Mexico and the dealer said no new updates until next week. Thank you in advance.

Mines not unfortunately which sucks because it’s going to be how much longer till it gets to Newark then all the way back to Vera Cruz and then all the way back up here again. Unless they use other ships as well which I don’t know

Looks like you can search molace schedule. Looks like they depart from Veracruz every two weeks. Next two departure dates are listed as 4-14 and 4-28. https://www.molace.com/VslVoy/VslVoySchedule/Index

Last Friday I picked up my 2023 AC OR from Corwin in Boulder and it was a relatively painless transaction. No pressure to finance or purchase an extended warranty. My trade-in was right around KBBs and Carvana numbers. I gave them a list of the most recent maintenance and their mileages and they were impressed. So I really don't have anything negative to say about them..
