I agree. Also it matches up to the patent that was floating around. And the hood lines here match up to the darkened close-up that Toyota posted yesterday. So I feel like it is going to pretty much look like that.

Platform. TGNA-F. Not frame. The Tundra and Sequoia are larger vehicles in all dimensions.

The platform means commonality for some component attachments, but not every part. Similarly but different, VAG uses the same platform for everything from the Golf / Rabbit to the Audi Q5. A large range of sizes can be made from the same platform.

IMO we lost the ability to truly modify and LT a Tacoma back in 05-06 and even then you had to get one without traction control and such. 3rd gens with lane departure assist, dynamic cruise control, abs and all that other safety sense stuff does nothing for a LT off road truck. The only safety feature my 05 has is the abs and that's been disconnected a long, long time ago. My primary reason to have a Tacoma is to pre-run Baja and Nevada and I could do without a turbo, hybrid and 15,000-other things that could go wrong in the middle of Baja or Nevada. puke. So my 05 will be in my stable until it won't roll anymore.

Current 2021 owner, use the back seat compartment storage all the time, I’m guessing that storage will be gone on 2024 iForceMax due to battery. 2022 Tundra lost them and 2023 Sequoia room in back impacted due to battery.

My guess is that there will be essentially no changes on the interior or exterior dimensions other than maybe a bit more headroom.

That's what I think also, but options without iForcemax will still get the under seat storage.

It actually is. Doesn't mean dealers can't add as many accessories and juice the price up. Or a dealer buying the rig themselves and reselling them.

I have read that. Not sure if it is a Toyota thing. But the sales manager at my local Toyota has told me before it is illegal to do mark ups in Canada. I can only go by what he told me

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
same boat here. I’m not in the market for a truck. the “safety non sense” is there for a reason(99% of the trucks are driven on the road with traffic n shit, current safety standards and yada yada) and let’s be honest there are some pretty awesome and capable 2nd and 3rd gen Tacomas. It all comes to budget available for the project. Don’t get me wrong, I’m an old school lover(truck’s an 05 with the one and only abs safety feature, and my Crf450x it’s carburetor) but I appreciate the way of the future.
By the way your truck it’s truly dope :fistbump: #05gang

No, a real law in Canada. In a seller’s market, they can install crap you don’t want and charge you for it, but I haven’t personally see it. If you put a deposit on a naked TRD Pro, you get that at MSRP.

That’s like the GM twins, I think I read 2-4” longer but cab is not bigger in any dimension whatsoever.

Yeah. I don't think any MFG wants to go bigger in this segment. The Ford is smaller, but everyone else is sort of on par other than our frame height / cozy cab, which works great for me.
