If you like wind and mud and free ranging cows Prescott/Chino/Paulden is great.

One of the houses I built had no fencing and the cows ended up on the front porch licking all the windows.

Highways and main routes are fine.

Downtown and in the neighborhoods have some snowpiles and ice

Yeah. Wife and I drove out to see everything last weekend. Upper lake Mary is overflowing. Lower lake Mary is 100% full and Mormon lake was looking pretty full as well

I havent seen it with my own eyes but based on the snowmelt in town and on the surrounding mountains, and how warm its been, Id wager the lake is not frozen.

    All-righty then.... Take 2!

What's up peeps, so we actually made it to AZ last year and had a poke around, stayed in Yuma, Phoenix/Scottsdale, then Camp Verde, Prescott, visited Sedona then down to Tombstone and off to NM after that. We originally thought AZ (Sedona in particular) was going to be our final destination after leaving HI, buying a TT in Seattle and exploring the west coast on the way to AZ. When we arrived in AZ things just didn't click and when we visited Sedona in February it was crazy, trails and streets buzzing with atv's, lots of noise, hecticness and general craziness. It was not what we expected. Stunned we left AZ and aimlessly went on to visit, NM CO UT NV before heading back to Seattle to regroup... We ended up towing some 8k miles and have so far spent nearly every night since Nov '21 in this tin can!

We've now just spent the winter in Bend, OR, had temps down below zero and survived. We're on the move again, back to AZ, friends have a rental in Goodyear that we're going to take advantage of so we're swapping cold and trains for crazy hot & jets with the intent of getting up to Flag to explore as a place to settle (which we didn't first time around). I have a 25ft TT that I'm thinking of storing up in Flag so 1. I don't have to drag it up the hill multiple times and 2. It won't melt.

I wanted to ask a couple of things...

    1. Is anyone is lucky enough to have lots of land that they would rent a spot for me to store the RV?

    2. Is BLM land access plentiful enough up around Flag for me to drag the trailer into the woods & explore? (plus is it safe enough to leave TT in the woods whilst off for the day?)

Photo of my TT a couple of weeks ago :)

Looking forward to coming back to AZ!

1: Wish I did have some land...
2: Yea you could leave it just lock it down tight...
3: Lots of areas just snoop and look around...

Sedona has sadly become trashed in the last few years due to 'influencers' and the like. I'd love to take the 2 hour drive into Sedona
and explore around but I'm getting a bit long in the tooth to deal with idiots and the like, especially crowds of them.
