No, because Toyota Canada advertises the price. What’s at the dealership has to be the same or lower. Quebec is very aggressive about this.

This says the same thing just in French. The price can't be more than what is advertised.

These laws don't prevent dealers from charging more than MSRP they just prevent bait and switches.

There is no provincial law that I'm aware of that actually bars a dealer from charging more than MSRP or adding $6000 for predator steps and a bit of 3M.

That hemi won't get 22 unless you're traveling down hill both ways.
    More like 17, 18 if you're lucky.
    The chevy 5.3 like 18, 19 if you're lucky.
Much like their inflated MSRP number's, their mpg numbers are "generous".
The tacoma gets 22-23 in the same driving conditions, by the same driver. (Flat, 2 lane, cc set around 58-60, 25 mile commute.)

    But... as always YMMV

If they use the Grand Highlander engines you're talking low 30mpg numbers.

My Silverado trail boss got almost the same exact fuel economy as my 3rd gen. 18-19 mpg. 25 miles commute. half highway half stop and go.

Wheels / tires look small. I noticed this on a few test mule shots as well.

And what are you getting in a 5.7 Tundra driving the same way?

Do any of the new Toyota i4 hybrid models use the "Iforce" branding? I believe they are just using the Hybrid max branding. Maybe that is indicating v6 power in TRD Pro.

I don’t think low 30’s mpgs in a Tacoma are ever happening.

I force Max is the branding for the tundra and Tacoma. The tundra has the electric motor sandwiched between engine and tranny with the rest of the drivetrain traditional part time 4WD.

Other hybrid systems use electric motors on one axle and gas power on the other. Or an additional electric motor on the gas axle.

I think the Tundra has the same problem. Will need to see if that’s the case with the 4th Gen, but that’s been the case with 2 & 3 IMO.
