    Does anyone have experience with a locking gas cap on a '23 Taco DC OR?
    The dealer parts dept. doesn't sell them and recommends against using one... activates check engine light.

    dont need it its anti-syphon unless you're saying you're worried about someone putting something in the tank itself.

    $24 Stant 10504 Stant Regular Locking Fuel Cap, black
    Stant 10504 works on my 2016 with no CEL light. Make sure you get a real Stant with a raised “S” on the top. See Post 61 on this link. I work at a high school so I do worry about funny stuff being put in my tank.

    so the clear hose with a squeeze line ball pump i have will not be able to get gas out of my tank? have it for emergency in case of extended power failure so i can get gas out of my truck.
