Wisconsin area events

Wow haven’t been on TW for a couple days and missed a bunch. Work has been crazy been out of town almost every week since the 1st of the year and it doesn’t look like it will slow down soon. I am looking forward to next weekend. My hope is to be up to camp on Friday night but might be early Saturday depends on work.

 

It seems like whenever I look away for a bit, there's like 3 pages of stuff I missed!

I hope to see you Friday! If not, we'll see you Saturday.

 

@RJW500 , how is your wife doing? I'm hoping she's recovering well. I hope she can join us on some trips this year!

 

Guys...am I looking at the correct forecast for next week? Mid to upper 70s?!

Last year it snowed and inspired @Pixeltim's pleasure palace.

 

You forget, this is WI. Forecasts beyond 48 hours are only pipe dreams.

@Thatbassguy wife is getting better doctors appointments this week and next so fingers crossed all goes well. Although if she comes with I will need a hotel as she won’t camp.

 

If it gets any warmer @pearing is gonna have to strip down to his skivvies.

I built the pleasure palace specifically for this weekend. Please don’t tell me I now need central air.

 

At this point, I am preparing for hail, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and snow. That forecast is way too good to be true.

I do kinda wonder what you do when it's hot, if you already wear shorts when it's cold??

I'm kinda the opposite... I put on a sweater if it's below 70°.

 

It hits 40 and the jacket is off, laying on the seat of the truck. Last week, I had to wrestle two 1000# skids off the liftgate at a customer's back door and was sweating my ass off. While I'm done with snow for the year, I'm not ready for 70s yet.

 

That’s why cold climates are good. You can always dress warmer, but in hot climes in the summer, even nudists are dripping sweat from their balls. Well, a friend mentioned that once…

Quick question: is there a plan for Sat dinner? Bring your own? Are there grills in the shelter?

 

Good question about grills in the shelter. I can definitely bring my Smoky Joe and charcoal. It was used by quite a few last time at Tigerton. Thinking I may pick up a steak for Saturday night.
