    lol

Chris, are those uncorrected for tire size guage readings or has your odometer been corrected by Hypertech/RC device? Either way impressive!

Wow.. that puts you over 420 miles projected on a tank. I'm NO WHERE NEAR THIS.. I got 25mpg on a 350 mile road trip - I had a 30mph tailwind the whole way..

Man I'd be frothing at the mouth with those numbers. What all is adding weight besides bigger tires? What was that trip like in terms of winds, hills, etc? I'm getting shit mpgs during my commute (~16.2 overall), though a tailwind has seen me get to the low 20s for that specific commute. Seeing other's experiences makes me feel like I've got something else going on, but everyone's experiences are not a one-for-one translation to my own.

But you are not commuting at 60 mph, right? I think he lives where his commute isn't 75+ mph.

Correct. Majority is 70mph and gnarly winds and some slopes. Hence why I'm trying to reign myself in. To be fair, when I'm coasting 60 or less and don't have to wait at lights, I get decent mileage all things considered. But spending ~$10 one-way to commute hurts!

Good evening fellow KD Max Pro fans! I don’t know how many fellow Redditors are out there, but I know I’m pretty active on the platform. I’ve generally found it to be at least somewhat more educational and beneficial than some of the more popular social media platforms like FaceBook or Instagram.

To that end, after confirming with @TWTaco and @PapaRee it was ok to do so, I’ve created a subreddit dedicated to KDMax Pro and its community.

    https://www.Reddit.com/r/KDMaxPro
r/KDMaxPro if searching via the mobile app

NOTE: You may be presented with a warning on mobile browsers that the site contains content not yet reviewed. This will remain true until the Reddit moderators review the subreddit and assign an appropriate tag. This won't impact the mobile app or desktop browsers.

I’m hoping to promote it as a venue in which others can share their experiences with the tune, answer question for those curious about what it has to offer, and advertise pro tuning services for their region.

Check it out if you’re active on the Reddit platform, and let me know what you think! I’m open to suggests on how I can improve it and hopefully grow it into a successful platform our community can share!

Excellent. Great idea. Another location to educate the public on the benefits of tuning.

Feel free to share subreddit with others as you see fit. I’m hoping we can make it something great for the community! Post your experiences with the tune, or as a pro tuner, so we can start attracting some attention.

One other note. If viewing the site in mobile browser (not the app) users with see a warning that this is unreviewed content. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to clear this. It has to reviewed by Reddit’s moderators and assigned a tag before it will be marked safe in mobile browsers.

I’ve also reached out to the r/Toyota Tacoma subreddit mods to see if they will relate it to their subreddit as that is already a very active community with lots of satisfied KD Max clients in it.

I went with hypertech , yes corrected tire size . Choose hypertech cause they have been doing it for a long time , spendy but it works great .

It's how I have my performance mods set up honestly, everyone ,well not everyone but most telling me I'm buying snake oil , bullshit . I went against every mofo that told me I was wasting my money, well you know what I'm not and I post and preach all the time about my setup and it works great . Have I had my doubts , for sure , I'm all about giving the benefit of the doubt and my results show that "snake oil " works . Throttle body spacer and ripp performance coils and oil catch can , 92 octane, k&n performance series intake with the Blackhawk synthetic dry filter, rear cat delete and now Anderson engineering intake manifold spacer.

They all come together to happily drive my stock geared 5400lbs pig with 35" tires with a breeze. The manifold spacer for sure helps 6th gear cruising with kdmax tune . It may have cost me thousands of dollars and 200k mi to get this Tacoma right but I'm super happy and going to work on another 200k mi .

If I could drive non stop I'm sure it would be close . With stopping at work and heading back home times 2 days I get about 330 to 350 a tank before I need to fill er up . I usually try to not go lower than a quarter tank. There are those times though I'm rolling into Safeway fuels and fuel light is screaming at me lol. Now I'm constantly trying to keep it at 60mph or close as I can . I tend to leave super early for work so I can do 60mph and not be late . Lol things we do to save money and lose sleep lol. 60mph is really the golden ticket and maintaining proper air pressure. Currently with my 35s I run 42psi warm in the front and about 37psi warm in the rear

Correct even though I'm having aholes doing 90 around me typically people that live close by the area I'm driving through and those people are probably running late thinking driving fast is gonna save them the half hour they are late lol no way. Your late, lol your late . Now do I see these number at 32°F or lower, hell no . These trucks hate below freezing temps . 50°F to 75°F is there happy place . Don't forget they love 92 octane or equivalent. I've been running premium the life of the truck.

If you leave at a decent time 60 mph is plenty fast . Doing 75mph or 70mph is just a few minutes. To me , the time vs the gas burned is not worth it to me to drive any faster than 65mph. These tacos are gas guzzlers after 65mph .
