Last night I realized that I didn't add floor mats to the request for my Taco. I am getting everything I asked for, but never thought about mats. So, thanks @DragonPro23 for the tip about the Weather Techs. Are the FloorLiner HPs the ones to look at?

I visited the dealer today. They are still indicating an April 8th date into Gulf States in Houston, and the 15th for my driveway. Still no indication as to where the truck is, and I really get the feeling the dealer doesn't know either. This date hasn't slipped so far, so I better get my taxes done so I will be ready to play!

Now, what else have I forgotten...

Depends if your truck was built in Tijuana or Guanajuato. Trucks built in Tijuana go by train from San Diego to a logistics center near the final destination (maybe Princeton, IN for you) then get on a delivery truck to go to the dealership. Trucks built in Guanajuato typically get on a boat in Veracruz and go to either Jacksonville or Newark. Then probably take rail to a logistics center and then get on a truck for final delivery. If the 11th character in your VIN is an “M” your truck was built in Tijuana and if it’s a “T” it was built Guanajuato.

I spent way too much time researching this when I was waiting on my truck…

I’m not all that familiar with the Weather Techs, to be honest. I just know they are favored by many compared to the Toyota branded product. They are certainly less expensive and appear to offer better coverage.

My ‘21 TRD OR had the all weather mats on the build, so I used what came with the truck. My current truck is a ‘23 TRD Pro and the Pro “package” includes TRD Pro branded all weather mats. They’re fine for me but they’re not deep and don’t cover as much area as the Weather Techs do. If my trucks hadn’t come with mats that’s probably the way I would go.

We can expand on this a bit. As Dave's analysis has shown, the third route from Guanajuato is by Kansas City Southern de Mexico train, swapping to KCS at the border. The Gulf States vehicles seem to come this way going to Houston, but many that go up into the central US
    use this route also.
I suspect your truck going to IL will also take this route. Take a good look at the various responses that Dave has posted - you will see a destination of ROLLA. I presume this is the city in Missouri.

Hi @DragonPro23 I've seen what a great resource you have been for everyone waiting for their new trucks. Can you please check these two vins for me?

The first VIN was supposedly built a couple of weeks ago and scheduled to arrive soon.

    3TMDZ5BN2PM151488

The second VIN is supposedly scheduled to be built in mid April.

    3TMDZ5BN6PM12B348

Both trucks are the same trim but I am more inclined on the second one because it has the tech package.

Thanks in advance for the help!

X-ACT mats are tough, easy to take out (vs hard WeatherTech) and soft on your feet.
