Is this the most ridiculous price we've seen?

A saw this gem on Facebook Marketplace. Have we seen a higher price for a TRD Pro? $78,499.

 

The FB link says the truck has been posted for 11 weeks. I am expecting the number of weeks to grow.

 

The other day I saw a dealership charging like $15k for a 2inch lift I couldn’t believe it. MSRP was like 48k. They wanted 65k for a 4x4 Trd Offroad

 

No. Someone posted a $90k+ for a 22/23? new pro that had a $40-50k markup on it

 

Tell them the 4th gen will be badass and ain't nobody going to pay that for a 3rd gen. If you can find a 1st gen to drive over there when you do that it would be that much better.

Why doesn't someone have a YT channel featuring dealer shenanigans.

 

They will keep asking more as long as there's enough stupid people paying for it.

 

Maybe they would throw in a bed mat and some Raptor lights.

 

For a total of $79k they sure would

 

The sad part is some idiot will buy it. Thinking he got a solid deal. Then they will do the same thing because they got away with it. And the cycle repeats

 

3G values have skyrocketed since the 4G release.

 

Nah they're pitching it as one of the last V6 Tacomas ever made.

I wonder what the last 3rd gen off the line will be?

 

I don’t know but I’m sure there’s a buyer out there that will pay the premium to own it. Certainly would be cool to say you own the very last 3rd Gen built though!

 

I just wanna know when the production of this gen ends so I can pick mine up

 

I am glad in a way that I picked up my Taco right before the dealers started putting markups on everything in their lot.

 

If you can wait, go for the 4th Gen.

 

I’d like to wait there’s just a bit of uncertainty. Of course I’d wait until they work out the kinks but between the turbo and probable price increase I’m leaning on a 3rd gen at the moment. We’ll see though. It’s just a waiting game until Toyota releases specs and features

 

I distinctly ordered the Antarctic Blue Super Sports-Wagon.
