I was just guessing, fight or something else! you have been a bad influence, I just picked up mine last Friday! May copy some of your mods if that's alright? I like the signals, lift and wheels. May go with sr8 in 17x8.5 like on my 2018 to stay with a c rated tire. Keep up the good work, looks great! Pics701902224.jpg 701902266.jpg

Congrats on the new ride! and that's perfectly fine. If you do the lift I recommend just ordering the front from Westcott Designs and going with an AAL or full pack for the rear. And yes, I wish my tires were C rated but I really wanted this tire and it was the only option for this size. Thank you for the kind words. If you decide to go with a 17" wheel please post it! I'd be curious to see how that turns out.

What a beauty. I think I'm going to have to take your word for the tint setup and get that done on mine.
Love how it looks so far!

Thank you! I really appreciate it! My buddy just got the same tint on his Tundra yesterday after seeing mine and he absolutely loves it so far.

Took the truck out this weekend. Had such a great time. Took it fairly easy though. Not going to do anything too risky until I order up some rock sliders. Also verified that a CMR, pinch weld fold, and a touch of fender trimming are still going to happen. Nothing crazy with rubbing, only turned and stuffed. Overall super happy with everything and the truck ran great!

Picked up come cat shields from Tacomabeast. They’re caliraised brand with the Tacomabeast logo. The Toyota dealership in my town had around 12 brand new trucks on the lot have the cats cut out. Ordered them the day I heard about it.

I know one of the main issues people have had with these cat shields is the top fin being too close to the driveline. I’ve got a little over 1/4in of clearance and I’m fine with that.

Trying out some Liftd Customs center caps for the F5’s from @JIMMEISTER. Definitely cleans it up quite a bit, especially with the rear hubs.

Went with a 3/4" spacer from BORA, kept the stock wheels and went with your tire selection with no extra lift. Will lift if needed but we shall see how it goes. 20230615_184542.jpg 20230615_184553.jpg 20230615_184606.jpg 20230615_184525.jpg I'm happy with it so far, gonna need some heat gun action up front for the fenderliner and that probably won't be all. thanks for the inspiration Ncousins1!20230615_184542.jpg 20230615_184553.jpg 20230615_184606.jpg 20230615_184525.jpg 20230615_182319.jpg 20230615_184542.jpg

Looks awesome! Glad I could help!

haha luck of the draw for sure! It was just a random generated plate from the DMV

I changed them to another set that was a much darker black. I am unsure of the company though.

Welp. The fun was short lived. Wife and I wanted a vehicle with more room and more comfortable for the trips we take. We still have her 4Runner for a cool trail rig. But now we have an F-150. Lots of plans and things on the way already including the new V2 Bilstein 6112/5160’s, custom painted grill, mirror caps, etc, leather, and lots more. The Tacoma was fun for the short time I had it, but looking forward to the new build.

The pup likes the backseat room too! Maybe if we ever have the means for a third vehicle I’ll get another taco. We’ll see.

You must of got a really good price for the Tacoma as well. There is no need to suffer with a vehicle that doesn't meed your needs. Nice truck. What engine did you choose?
