    I don’t have any experience with their Blacklock collection but I will say the main appeal of Lodge cast iron to me is that it’s inexpensive and I can abuse it a bit without really caring. It is heavy though so if the blacklock collection is lighter that could be appealing. The “triple seasoning” is probably a bit nicer out of the box but not something that couldn’t be achieved with any skillet over time. Anyways I went poking around and saw that they are running 20% off on their website at the moment if that makes any difference.

    I was on their website last week and they were running a discount on the enamel pieces. Thanks for sharing that information. I like the idea of the lighter weight pieces.

    I've found some old pieces lately. Not as good of prices as other people but the market where I live. The resellers want brand new prices for beat up pieces of even the crappy brands. But I found a Wagner #8

    The interior was no where near as bad as the base of the skillet. Very smooth but still some residue on the walls. When I take it out of the tank later I'll post some more pics.
