im not familiar with woodford..it seemed to be the basic bottle..I looked at it from across the bar..shoulda read it.

I just drank that about a week ago. It's strong but I really enjoyed the chest burn it gives.

A colleague of mine got this for me when he was in Japan. I actually enjoyed it, thought it was pretty good. Had that peat flavor that scotch has, that I don’t care for. But this wasn’t bad. Sipped on this in Las Vegas with a good friend of mine.

I see that classic bottle of Makers 46 back there.

 

I drove around town today, visiting three different liquor stores searching for Jack Daniels 12 yr. The first store and biggest store said they had one left, and we're going to lottery it to one of their frequent loyalty program customers at the end of the year. The second store and smallest store said they had both the 12 yr and the 10 yr, for the tiny sum of $449 for the 12 yr and $299 for the 10 yr. Not being willing to drop that kind of coin on a bottle. I went to a third store, and the closest to my house said they had received two bottles and had sold them both for $150. In the end, for all my trouble I brought home a couple of bottles of Chattanooga Whiskey.
