We've been keeping this under wraps for some time now, but today we are excited to announce that YotaWerx Tuning has completed a merger and acquisition of Nexus Tuning Group, with Nexus Tuning developers and networked partners coming onboard with YotaWerx Tuning!

This enables YotaWerx to continue to bring the community high quality tuning solutions while working on several projects at once rather than keeping them on the shelf for extended periods of time, and with several more locations available in-network, the availability of local support is that much more complete and easily accessible.

Today (23 Mar 2023) is the official date of the merger. Please be patient with us while we work hard to finish transitioning Nexus Tuning Group content and processes into YotaWerx Tuning. Services available will not be interrupted nor unavailable.

We appreciate the community's enthusiastic support. More big things to come this year, stay TUNED!

I'm running 285's with the WW tune. Going to a 90mm pulley will give improvement in power and mileage?

It will improve your power, yes, because you will be installing a supercharger along with it.

Ok, i finally got to flashing my ECU which took the help of my brother who’s product designer on the tesla design team, haha. Although the instructions were included, it wasn’t written for a computer dummy such as myself. Anyways, the flash is amazing. The big lull in the middle of the power band is gone. I can burn out pretty easy now if i wanted, in fact i have to really watch my throttle in put at stops and corners since it doesn’t take nearly as much to get going. Im happy with the Stryker+ tune i got so far!

    That sounds reassuring.
I will be installing the s/c on the 19th of this month and tuning the same week. Will the update be released this month? Or later in the year?
If we buy the original tune before the update, are we eligible to receive the update?
If I am going to pay 1,000 for the tune, It would be nice to have the latest version.
    Thanks for any guidance here.

The update will be published later this year. If you buy now, you're eligible for the update when released for free.

The $1000 is only if you pay for flash service via one of our networked tuners. The kit comes with a VFTuner flash kit, enabling you to purchase the tune pack for $700 and flash yourself, using our tune guide.

If you are not sure about install and use of the Tune Pack there are many YotaWerx users willing and able to assist. IMO the Tune Pack is the way to go if you have a suitable laptop and desire to do future updates when released without relying on others. Not to mention it is a better value. YoyaWerx Syryker tunes rock - you will be impressed and happy with their Tunes.

My understanding is you need a Windows. I have a Mac without Bootcamp.
For me the hassle of installing all of that isn’t worth it and I would rather have someone flash it for me.
I’ll mention the updates when I go to get flashed and see if they will honor that. ( @runnin4tacos )

im in the same boat as you with a new Mac that doesnt support boot camp anymore. I really like the ability to swap pulleys and tunes with the season and need though. So I'm going to purchase a used windows machine from a guy off marketplace. Its sole purpose will be to reflash the truck.

I purchased a re-furb Lenovo, SSD windows machine for only $250 from Amz. Works great, and the instructions from YW are wonderful, and the support from TW is AWESOME.

The cheap laptop was purchased originally ONLY to flash ecm, but with only a 500M SSD, I keep it lean (no office software loaded); it makes the perfect platform for web surfing and checking emails; SOOOoo much so that I have not picked up my I-pad in almost a year now. Really appreciate having a keyboard (especially for notes to TW)!

Certainly is your choice, but for the same $ investment, and a little time, you will have great satisfaction, and own the hardware. I since used the same hardware to load Techstream, have tweaked settings on two Tacoma trucks, and a dealer service somehow screwed up the feel of my brake pedal on the 2009, so I used Techstream to properly bleed my own brakes. This small investment has paid off in more ways than I expected.

Totally agree, and depending on where you work, you might be able to find one for free. Our IT department considers 5 year old laptops obsolete, so the IT guys gave me one that was headed for electronics recycling. Works great for VF tuner and tech stream.

If you ask around, you might find someone with an older laptop that’s just sitting in a drawer or closet.

I've got the exact same thing. An old Mac with bootcamp installed whose sole purpose is Techstream and to flash my truck with VF Tuner. I would definitely get a computer so you can do it yourself / switch between tunes in just a few minutes vs. having to find someone. It's nerve racking the first time, but extremely straightforward once you know the drill.

get that 87mm and tune installed? Gotta know what you think. Spent my day doing a transmission pan drop with filter change along with cleaning the magnets. 4.5 qts of fluid out - 5 in and level check afterwards. Long day but NO MESS!

I usually make a mess (small if lucky) and cut myself and bleed like a stuck pig. None of that today but I sure am beat. 16 Oz back out after level check so the 4.5 qts was spot on.

Not yet! Had too much going on but it's camper season soon so I could always use more power, I will reach out if you want to help me with the pulley for the first time!
