Hockey Trash Talk & BS thread

Thats what someone who only follows the media would say. Hes still playing great. Hes on a 30-40 pts pace, a 225-275 hits pace, and playing 26-27 mins a night lately. Only thing that sucks is his contract is a bit high, but thats why we were able to get him. The deal was basically Keith Aulie (if you even watch hockey you would know hes a stud, and a steal for us) and Phaneuf for basically nothing. Stajan was nothing, Hagman is on waivers now, Mayers was a 36 year old UFA, and Ian White is nothing and was shipped out a few times now. That trade was amazing and possibly the biggest steal in the last few years period
The media loves to bash the Leafs, just like they love to bash the Yankees. The bad story will get twice as many hits/views/talk then the good story. Its just basic media knowledge.

 

You can take your " if you ever watch hockey " shit and go fuck your hat , I probably watch more games of more teams than you .

Ok, so I listened to you and checked them....we are 23rd out of 30 teams (30th out of 30 would be last silly) still while being the youngest team in the league by far. Its called rebuilding. Every team does it from time to time. I dont expect them to win this year. But I like the progress

 

The reason he said "Check the Standings" was because he Canucks are in 1st. Oz, good luck tonight and lets not forget our little avatar bet once we win tonight .

 

He also said have fun in last place. I dont think I have to decode that. But we will see once again when a team built with weaker europeans gets beat out of the playoffs. Playoff hockey is all about toughness and wanting it more. Something their team lacks (Minus Kesler)
