Or it could just be Friday then Saturday, then Sunday and so on and so forth. Pretty sure the moon cycle has been around for awhile.

He’s referring to the pagan holiday that was adopted by the Christians and validated by counting backwards fourty days and naming that Wednesday as Ash Wednesday (and the preceding Tuesday as Mardi Gras (when uttered in French). I don’t think any of that changes one’s beliefs one way or the other.

Oh I aware of the reference.... but to me, it's Friday, and a full moon and that's enough.

I had the second longest throw, so I didn't have to buy! We ended up doing an accuracy contest after, throwing a rock into a bucket with our left hand. almost lost that one, but I skated by with a 1-0 win. loser had to buy the sodas.

Fun fact: I'm left handed. When I was 4 or 5 my grandparents would babysit me often and gave me my dad's old ball glove to play with. He was right handed. A bit later when it came time for me to get my own, my parents bought me a glove for my other hand, so at an early age I learned to throw equally well with both hands. If I don't have a ball glove on, I always default to throwing with my right hand.

I offer my service as a stand in for your contest.

<---- Also a lefty, also grew up doing things ambidextrous, as it goes for most lefties. Adapt and overcome or let it be a disadvantage. It started as throwing and catching and as I got older it was shooting single handed, drop a mag and send another with the other hand.
Left-handedness runs in my family, its very prevalent.

Ripping out more old fence today. Got my first estimate for wood vs vinyl, wood was 4450 vinyl was 7450, good news is living in city limits the garbage guys pick up my old fence if I can get it to the street.

I had a fellow who worked for me who was left-handed, it seemed to be a constant hindrance for him -- along with many other things in life...

Spare parts, etc were stored in bin boxes, he would pull the item out, decide it wasn't what he needed and return it to the bin to the left of where he got it. This generated many WTH moments, especially for spare parts. :annoyed:

Years later I would have guys come in and say "we don't have a ____ in stock!" o_O
I would say "go check the bin to the left" -- and there it would be. :frusty:

I’m thinking handedness would have been a good poll….:annoyed:

We’re the only ones in our right mind.
Don’t underestimate a leftie… we’ve been operating in a right hand world, so we’re already used to doing things that way. We’re just typically better when we figure out there’s a better way. I was learning golf as a righty… someone said, you know… there are left hand clubs. I switched immediately. My game was no better, so I quit. When you suck, you suck… no point in postponing the inevitable. In boxing, southpaws are sneaky…

What type of fence is it? You might be able to sell it, I used old privacy fence for my shop walls.

It's a 6 foot wood privacy fence that I'm gathering was put up partially with a permit, partially without. City code says cross members have to face owner. My rear portion was cross members out. I've got quite a bit of rot and termite damage to the supports. My neighbor did come to me today and say let me know how much my wall is and I'll split it with you, totally unexpected. Ok doke!
Ol Red Sawzall did work, then I drilled a hole in the main vertical beams, threaded an eye bolt and put rope through that and drug each panel to the street. I'm about half way done.

April 8th Christmas dishes have been put away.
