I was going to say you might want to throw in 2/0 lol. I guess I'm hella overkill on that.

Cool beans. My plan was originally just wiping them out and maybe not even replacing them, so I'll hit it with a chainsaw first and see what happens.

More like "Why won't this stupid thing work, okay, now I need to clean up all these stupid pine needles, god damn stupid trees, why are they even here oh crap now I need to find loam to fill the holes the trees left and drop some seeds on them oh wait when is it supposed to rain, ah crap it's going to be sunny for a week I have to water this with the hose...I need a beer"

Actually jokes aside anyone in the area want them? I think they can be transplanted pretty easily, they're healthy I just want them smaller, and I can't do that as easily with these verses something that can take a rejuvination prune (my rhododendrons...we'll see if that was a success later this year!.... :jpow: ). Not a big deal if not, town comes and takes yard waste weekly outside of Q1, so these can just get stuffed there. But hey, free trees :notsure:

    :boink:

found this in the thread of the dude who regretted trading in for a ranger.

PS I test drove a ranger, loved it. If it wasn't for the "I always wanted a Tacoma" in me, I'd probably be in that, or the frontier.

I had a 94 B4000. It was a plow truck. That really beat the crap out of it. The front axle housing rusted so bad it cracked and broke. I would have thought that would be the last thing to break. It was not pretty!

My cousin last year had to replace his totaled fusion. Ended up with the fast fusion 2.7 twin turbo awd. He was like what should I do for service or look into. I was like since it's awd service the diffs and the power unit or whatever ford calls it......

Mechanic was like surprisingly there's no chunks but there was no fluid in the rear diff and zero sign of a leak lol

Combined with the 10 speed and the 3.73s, that 2.7 was my favorite power train out of any vehicle I have owned.

Everyone knows lower viscosity oil means higher efficiency. Air is about as low as it gets.

Trying to figure out the noise again tomorrow morning. if it does turn out to be lower control arms what do you all recommend for replacements? Oem? I don't need 1500 dollar LCs but if there's a minor upgrade or a better deal out there let me know

Right now the needs and wants are just for the sound to go away. In 10 years maybe long travel lmao but probably not

I put a Moog lower control arm on mine last year when I had a bad ball joint. I have no complaints yet.

It's a 10 year old truck with (I think you said something like 150k?)

OEM seems to be just fine. :notsure:

Also, if you haven’t moved your alignment tabs lately you will probably need to cut them off with a sawzall. The only place I could find those was at the dealer.

Did some brush clearing today. Cut down a couple of small trees as well. Have to get a burn permit, although today was a definite no burn day due to wind and dry conditions. Have more cutting to do, and I should get some stuff burned Sunday.

I also cleared a small pile of debris from last years bathroom project. Mostly dirt and rocks, but some chunks of concrete from where they opened the floor. A PITA getting rid of that crap, but it's done.

Getting ready to put the house on the market and there is a lot of little projects that need doing. Painter is supposed to come out his weekend to give me a price on some exterior touch up in spots. Need a price on sealcoating the driveway. Grass seed needs to go down.

    It never seems to end.
