Where Have You Off-Roaded Today? 3rd Gen

Great morning at Hungry Valley. I love this place.

And not bad, climbs all over the place to get to high places (Mt. Pinos), wheeling, and some city driving. Not bad with 1.468 gallons left.

 

Nice pics, beautiful foliage. Wish we had that on the west coast!

 

This was the week after, hit the foliage perfect!

 

Ripped up to the transfer park after dinner last night. The ARB Solis lights are wildly bright, btw

 

You def should considering how close you are! You can explore for days out there. There’s tons of plated vehicles only trails along with OHV trails on the state park side. Ocotillo wells , pending what sort of camping you’re into , is always fun people watching too.

Man you guys have some amazing views. Can't wait to get back out to the west side in September. Night wheeling in Citrus WMA. My skids took a beating.

 

Man am I envious of some of those trails and views!! I have to plan a trip somewhere outside of Indiana soon as it’s been a long WINTER!

 

Started out the day just outside the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve. There was a road that looked less traveled with the ruts at the entrance. And sure enough when we got to the top, one truck was ahead of us, and thasit. We were by ourselves. Good stuff. Then a cheeseburger meal from Frazier Park and lunch at Hungry Valley.

Such awesome views! I can only hope some day I can make it out there and enjoy them in person!!

 

I know right, so hot. But let me tell you, he is really starting to hate them because of the lip on the fake bead lock. It holds alot of water so the lower section is always dirty and grimy. He is one of my boys so I know him well, if you're like him and everything has to be clean & tidy It's a daily reminder you have failed. Thats all he sees now. Also, FL so its always wet and rainy, might not be so bad in dryer climates.

 

Couple of shots from Joshua Tree National Park this week. The truck felt great with newly rebuilt/revalved shocks and a fresh set of Yoko Geolandars.

 

It was a day to go out and learn how the Taco reacted to different scenarios with TRAC on and off. Good stuff. Sometimes you won’t know until you know! Loving the Harrop E-Locker

I decided to go find something to photograph this morning and went up Umptanum Ridge and found all sorts of great shots along the way.
