I’ve ran 93 octane since I’ve bought the truck. Added sea foam to the gas tank about 3-4 times per year on average I’d say. Not sure what it would be but glad I changed them. Definitely not burning any oil

A couple of your plugs look like they have rust on them. Maybe it's something else but if it is rust you might want to be sure you don't have water leaking into that/those cylinders. Maybe head gasket?

Yes I agree they look rough and was happy I changed them out. I went ahead and changed the oil while I was doing it. How would I tell if there is water? Would it show from oil drained from the pan? I mean it runs great but those plugs do have me slightly concerned. I’ve gotta admit they seemed torqued in more than the 13 ft lb of torque it calls for. I had to turn probably twice as hard getting them broke loose to come out of the block. I put anti seize on the threads of the new plugs. I hope to god it’s just carbon or additive build up

Oh there will be some mods all right
You liking it so far? The locks seem to be somewhat low quality and there are some minor fit and finish issues but overall it seems pretty nice.

Actually, come to think of it, the reddish-orange color on the plugs reminds me of the photos some of the guys have posted of their catch can mods. 100k+ miles of blow-by could really add up.

HEY! I know that church. It's way off from the busy road on farmland. We were driving past, saw it, and ... WTH?

IIRC, a farmer built it in memory of his departed wife? It has attracted travelers from around the world. Cool stuff/story.

Pulled off the inner kick panels looking for the factory trailer plug relay, nope couldn't find it , but the interior got a vacuum and wipe down, scrubbed the weather teck floor mats. Then pulled off the wipers and the front cowl piece, cleaned the screens and scrubbed it. The rubber cups that the wiper arms sit in were plugged solid with debris. Hopefully tomorrow I will give the outside a much over due scrub. Just wanted to add I have a very large cedar tree where I park my truck and the fallout from the tree really plugs everything up

Diode Dynamics makes a plug and play harness, replace their switch with one from Any Time Back Up Camera.

I use DD SSc2 lights with red backlight. The back light acts as a marker light and the white light as back up light or switched to operate independently.

I literally had no idea you could actually "try on" tires at a tire shop!

New upper and lower radiator hoses, new heater core hoses and fresh coolant. I highly recommended some cable operated hose clamp pliers especially for the heater core hose tucked way behind the engine near the firewall.

    Part numbers:
    87209-04070
    87209-04080
    87209-04060
    16572-0P350
    16571-0P360

Thanks @RustyGreen for the 5/16 drain hose method on the engine drain plug and radiator drain. :hattip:
