    I worked the Sub ATCA as a Mech then a DOM AFTA - ATTI Fun times in the Tucson area RYN We would train Germans the Dutch for The Regional airlines.
    From nothing to 10 HR solo in a complex single, Do 40 hrs then another 40 hours in Barons then 20 Sim Then Right seat in a Fokker 50.

    I follow this thread as an aviation "enthusiast." I never learned to fly, wish I had, but do enjoy air museums, shows, aviation movies, etc. But man, sometimes you guys talk in bizarre code!

    Took a buddy to up in his first small-plane flight yesterday. We flew around the Bay and then got breakfast at the Half Moon Bay Airport. He loved it so much he went home and signed up for an online Private Pilot ground school!
