After 3 years baking in the summer sun, I did manage to crack my rear window at around 10F. It probably would have been OK if I was more careful. Buying a replacement was easy. Other that it has been fine. I make sure to brush snow off, but even with the heaviest wet stuff it has not been a problem.

3 years of use of my top in the MN winter here.

The only times I have ever had issues is after a car wash. This may not be a issue with softtoppers though (I have bestop) because the soft toppers rear flap overhangs the tailgate.

Your picture helped me decide. Snowy where I live in Northern Arizona. Looks like the soft top handles the weather. Side note: I kept my oem wheels. IMHO, they reflect a bit of light. I have to access a highway from a side street and I like my truck to be seen in low light conditions.

Forgot to mention for my experience in the winter. I do ice fishing, so I need to open the tailgate and lift the topper flap to load and unload my ice shack several times a week.
Snow causes no issues, its the ice that can form on the seal between the flap and the tailgate (bestop issue only) after a car wash. Zippers always work even with snow or ice on them. I usually open the tailgate after a wash and park the truck to let the water dry out.

Anyone happen to have the grey soft topper with a white taco? I’m a little torn between the black and the grey, appreciate it!

I know I’m a year late on this but I’m looking into this as a light weight camping set up for my wife and I that I can remove without fuss so I can still use my truck as a truck . I’ve always like the fit of the soft topper. Definitely the route I’m gonna go. This thread has definitely reinforced that option

My last black Softopper was 6 years old when I sold it with the truck. Was still black and dark. Used 303 on it once every 2 months.

Dry. Small water in the front corners if you don’t seal the bed right.
I use a pool noodle under the tailgate bar to keep dust from coming in.

I ordered mine on the 20th of March. Was delivered to me in Virginia on the 22nd of March. Only order by calling. They answer their phones. They call back if you leave a message. They will tell you what they have ready to go, how many are spoken for and what the wait might be.

Ask for Terra or Amy. Awesome at their job.

I know this is from two years ago, but I've got a Decked system, along with a bed rack and RTT. I'm considering removing the rack and tent, and going with the Softopper. I hadn't really thought of the clearance issue with the drawers, but you do make a valid point @Drumsg, so I called them.
You need 7" from the top of the bed walls to the top of whatever system you are using in the bed. I measured my Decked system and it is just under that. So I am guessing if I do go ahead and get one, I won't be able to fold it up or down without removing the cotter pin and bows. I think I'm probably fine with that, as I want to reduce weight and height from the rack and RTT and really want something to just provide some cover for the bed. I don't know that I would be folding it up much, if at all.
