AZ Weekly Monday Meets/Chill/Happy Hour

Taco Tuesday 6pm-9pm @ Offroad Warehouse in Mesa 420 S Country Club Mesa, AZ 85210

2nd Tuesday of the month at ORW. Show off your Tacoma and check out others, along with a few Lexus, Land Cruisers, T4R.

Free, just arrive and park in the lot, first come, first served. Taco truck will be set up and also open for business at 6pm, ORW store will remain open for attendees to shop. Other Vendors attend, such as tune specialists, fabrication specialists, etc.

April is the 3rd month for this new, family friendly event, it's pretty busy though!

I could debate that…but my impression of Mesa is the dark underbelly I worked in out there for 2 years

 

Most of Mesa is a shithole, but then again, so is the West Valley

 

I live in East Mesa, so maybe my experience is skewed a bit as it's the good part of town. I did go to high school in the less friendly part of town though.

 

I fixed it for you

 

I worked just outside the city limits of east Mesa, Main and Sossaman is where my station was. Codes, ODs, trailer…sorry…modular home fires, gnarly fatal roll overs, stabbing, domestic violence, shootings, all that was the norm in my first due. It was a wild time!

I do miss those days a bit, but I don’t miss the paranoia of being attacked, nor the nonstop calls. I was burnt out.

Im sure there are good parts of Mesa as with anywhere (accept Tucson) there’s good and bad. There was an awesome park we used to go to near that area where we would play ultimate frisbee with the other engine co from the station up the road. Lots of fun there.

 

And that is one of many reasons why I'm moving to UT
