Saw a GMC Denali ad just now that advertised their new "hands free driving" feature, wtf. Are we promoting that now lol? Shows the driver playing a clapping game with their kid while passing somebody on the highway, I thought it was an SNL bit at first.

 

Brittle ass grommet fell right into the valve cover trying to get it off, spent some quality time fishing those pieces out

 

Add spark plugs to the list, it's like a 20min job on these bad boys

 

Got a closer look at the valve covers too while in there and they are leaking bad, need to do those then reevaluate how bad any of the other leaks really are

 

I had totally forgotten what a PITA the OEM skids are. The BudBuilts on my Tacoma are so much easier to deal with than these things. Of course, one big issue is I don't fit easily under the 4R like I do the truck.
Maybe I need to add a little lift eh!

OEM skids are easy peasy.

I had Budbilt skids on the 4R too; would just lay on my back whenever I needed to lift and install or uninstall it.

 

I think it helps to be a young guy like yourself.

The OEMs might be easier if there was a little more space to work with.

Real talk, Moab or DV in a year and a half?

 

I think it's easier to work with a group in DV, tends to be more empty but perhaps less technical. But easily as scenic

 

Yeah I am definitely game to try and make DV work, logistically it's probably easier too being a lot closer to us than Moab.

And those fucking Moab crowds last time were killer trying to do anything in the actual park
