send gen. The mounts looked the same. I really didnt pay too much attention/remember if there were any difference between it and the 3rd gen motor mounts.

I was a production fabricator for 3 years before going fire, if you ever need something quick and he’s not available. Offer still stands for brewskies and an extra hand  I wouldn’t mind some first hand sights of an ls sitting in a taco either as I eventually will go this route

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
6L80e from the 2014 period and further forward are less plagued with issues and easier to bulletproof
But still not without ANY issues… they overheat unless you configure them to live around 180
But from the factory they live around 200
    So
You can see the rub issue there in the way of reliability but… that’s a 10$ problem if you’re aware of it early on

How did you do the throttle pedal, by wire or cable? In either case, how did you do the pedal mounting?

It’s a CTS-V pedal mounted in the stock location with a little bracket I made

Drew I’d love to see a more in depth of how you had to modify stuff specifically for your LS including all the brackets you made
    or the wiring harness modifications/replacements

also… does your radio work? In your video
It’s off off so I was curious

Also, would it have solved some of your clearance issues had you set up the LS as a dry sump?

mounts and oil pan is really the only things custom made and they are a very simple design, radio does work no problems there

dry sump could possibly solve some clearance issues but the cost of a set up doesn’t outweigh the benefit I don’t believe

    What about your trans crossmember?
Is it gonna be a big hurtle to get the 4WD back working?

Trans mount is basically a 3x3 aluminum square tubing spacer on the stock trans crossmember and the 4x4 will be super easy

When you get a chance I’d love to see pictures of the spacer and how you handle the 4WD

I’m doing a LT motor but I’m sure it will be identical

    Too many to count
Do you think it's feasible to keep a manual transmission and 4x4 with this swap? The one thing I refuse to ever give up is my third pedal.

I believe it’s possible I remember seeing someone who made a adapter plate for a LS into like a first gen or something maybe the bellhousing bolts are the same that would make it pretty easy
