    The new Chevy ZR2 is not fuel efficient, I don't think they even use that technology anymore

    Right. And sure it wasn’t a full reveal but it was something and more than any of us knew or had info on, including all the big car influencers, etc. and he’s been very accurate on many of the details. And he doesn’t work for Toyota but another big brand of course he’s not gonna have every inside detail. People here baffle me.

    A raptor and TRX aren’t very fuel efficient either. None are good comparisons to any tundra though.

    I had a 2019 ZR2 Duramax and averaged like 26 or 27 mpg. Gas versions are probably upper teens.

    I was talking to someone with a ZR2 diesel re:towing, I was saying that I get 12mpg towing a 5k trailer and he mentioned he gets high teens towing :eek: I wish Toyota brought over the turbo diesel from the Hilux personally. However here in the USA you guys only like diesels if they are above 8L o_O

    If it’s indeed turbo charged, which it’s looking to be I’m sure the tuners will be able to churn out impressive numbers. And I’m sure there’ll be some who upgrade the turbo immediately

    I really think the diesel Hilux would sell well here. I’d even give up my stick shift for a diesel, but we know it won’t happen unfortunately.
