It’s easy enough to do it with your analog altimeter as well, but in my case it’s a quick button push.

personally, I’d rather have an analog one. How thick is yours? The ones I’ve seen are quite long and would have to mount much higher than everything else on the dash.

God, I’m getting tired of the Shakespearean April fools joke! It’s pretty funny but it’s really starting to bug me.

the panel flange just sticks up a little from the cup holder, but not by much. it is not flush but i don't notice it. the vent port is on the back so i put a shaved restrictor plug in which keeps it as low as possible. verily, i can go out and measure and take more pics if important to you.

Just to be clear, this is a real IFR capable altimeter used in older planes. You might find some on Ebay or maybe flying sites but i doubt they will be cheap. i got lucky.
It looks a bit ugly in pics when trying to display how it sits. Viewed from driver or passenger position, it looks pretty good.
It does not bottom out in cup holder since the diameter is a little bigger than the bottom of the holder. A small piece of foam secures it in the holder.
EDIT: Tons of them on Ebay.

Y'all are a bad influence. I haven't purchased anything more than an alignment for my 2020 DCLB in the past two years. Now, after slumming through 29 pages of cool ideas, I've got 6 new enhancements to install this week, not counting the retracting bedliner and voodoo VRS bed rack I need to order Monday...

Dude. Nothing picture worthy, but so far 5/5 for inexpensive mods. Kid and I put in...

    Glove box organizer
    Gas cap holder
rubber cup holders everywhere (blue trim)
climate control bezels (blue trim to match)
    LED bed lights

Will work on the LED interior light replacement over the next couple of weeks.

Ordering the RetraxOne XR and Voodoo 12" VRS in the next week. Power tailgate lock/unlock coming soon.

How the heck did I turn into a Tacoma bruh?

It’s all pic worthy! It’s easy to go down the rabbit hole isn’t it? I did the same thing, I loved the truck stock then it was like one thing here and there…now my truck looks completely different and I love it even more

My favorite and most useful cheap mod.

Front camera washer. Helps hugely when driving down wet / muddy roads. Every time I hit the windshield washers, the camera gets a dousing.

Parts were as I recall about $12 for the Ford Explorer Limited front camera washer, and a few bucks for hose and fittings.

Cheap mod that took some time. Worth every minute of work. With the long hood on the Gen 3's, off roading I think the camera is a must have for break overs. Nice to not have to get out and wipe off the camera every time I'd like to use it after fording muddy terrain.

Front camera worth its weight in gold (and then some) when cresting over and can't see what's on the other side.

I vinyl wrapped the red inlays in matte metallic black and used a black fabric marker on the red stitching of my Faux Pro shift knob. I don't have any other red accents in the truck, so it just didn't look right.
