90s are cool. 110s are cooler

Good stuff. Hopefully no one in here is wasting time of transmission filters for a 2nd or 3rd gen though. Not worth the time and effort, and they really don't need servicing due to rather excellent design.

I have changed the fluid twice. I have read through that thread before, and decided that it wasn't the shudder; but, you are right I do use my truck. I will peruse that one again and see what it yields.

Got the truck washed up since it looks like its going to be a nice clear week for it to stay clean. Its so nice to be washing the truck outside and having it stay clean more than two days.

Okay. I think after spending an hour driving around town that in fact it could be that torque converter shudder. I used Toyota fluid for the dump and fills (well actually I did about six dump and fills for each "one" to get as much of the old out as possible.) Gear Cruncher doesn't think much of the OEM fluid. After Wyalusing I will do another of my flushes and use Amsoil. Will also add either a Lubeguard product or Dr Tranny Shudder fix product and see what that yields. Thanks Adam!

Good luck man and you're welcome! But also credit to @CygnusX191 as he posted it first and very certainly knows more than I do!

Big difference between dump & fill and an actual flush.

That's ok, OEMs don't think much of gear cruncher. Let me put it this way.... Toyota race crews use the OEM fluids. So, ya know .....

I took the plow off the 4wheeler and put it away. Snowblower was put away. It's all still located near if needed.

I also noticed the gas in the bike was smelling a little old, so I did the proper thing and burned off about 70 miles worth! I may or may not have broken the ton. :anonymous:

Oh there will be some mods all right
Spent the day in the UP with my parents and then ended the day with a butter garlic parmesan New York strip steak. Can't think of a better way to spend Easter than that.

I have a question, is there a way to change the tire size for correct speedometer/odometer reading. I tried using an autel scan tool but the option was not available for the truck. Anyways this happened today

@sparkystaco got the shims, thanks for dropping off. @rubbersidedown come find me at camp this weekend for the TWExpress delivery.

I don't think there is a way to change 2nd gen speedo to match tire sizes. I'm up one size from stock and my speedo is actually more accurate now than factory size up until about 75mph (which I don't go faster than anyways to keep good mpgs). Otherwise you just have to use GPS and learn actual vs. speedo speeds.
