How I had the lowers aligned, yes they were distorting the bushings. These bushings are poly, but a harder durometer blend than say the Whiteline stock replacement bushings. So they don't take well to being completed crossed up when you have the cams maxed out in opposite directions front to back.

I have TC UCA's which use poly bushings like the Camburg ones.
I haven't had any issue with abnormal wear with mine. Only had the passenger side split apart from lack of grease and proximity to the exhaust header.
What kind of grease are you using? If they aren't properly lubricated, you'll find they wear at an accelerated rate.

I used to use Superlube, but have since switched to this. I found that the superlube washed out too easily and didn't hold up very long (especially on the LCA). The Prothane stuff is much thicker and more difficult to work with. But have had no problems since switching.

On the topic of bushings, what condition are your bushings in? That could be causing the shift in alignment you're seeing

They are fairly new. I haven’t done a bolt check yet however. I think it’s so for an alignment anyways so I may just bring it to Firestone and see if it does it afterwards

Have been thinking of this mod combined with the turn signal mod. Can you provide more detail. Did you have to trim? Do they fit in the bracket or did you have to fab something.

Pulled the bed system out. Plan to get the frame more dialed in with some l track and install the drawer slides. But first... 3m thinsulation for the roof.

    20230406_134135.jpg

Use to have xps in my last shell and it worked great.
Wanted to hvac tape the seams as I did with the ridgid stuff but it doesn't take well to the thinsulation. Chose this becaue its highly rated and it'll compress perfectly when I put panels on.

    20230406_114817.jpg 20230406_114823.jpg 20230406_123640.jpg 20230406_123643.jpg 20230406_131355.jpg

Should make a world of difference in this small space.

Need to plug all the holes in the bed also. The silt from pole line found every one of them. iykyk

Got the final coat of paint on the BudBuilt front skids and made a little platform saddle for my floor jack to keep the skid in place while I'm installing it. Hoping to get the belly skid cleaned up and installed this weekend.

You've got about 10" +/- to work with. I ran into that looking at lcd screen rearview mirrors. 12" was too big so I went with a 10"

I'm running into issues removing the upper plenum from the engine bay. I've removed all the bolts and have it flipped over to access the 3 tubes on the throttle assembly underneath. I've managed to get 2 of the 3 tubes disconnected at one end but the third I can't disconnect from the throttle body assembly (actually two of them feel like they're glued onto the throttle bottle assemble but the other I was able to disconnect from the other end -- see binder clip). The stubborn one is closer to the cockpit and I can't access the clamp on the lower end that feeds into the engine but removing the clamp on the throttle body assembly hasn't made it any easier to detach the hose on that juncture. Any advice here? Picture attached

Those usually just come right off for me once the clamps are moved away. Gotta muscle it a little tho. Get a flathead in there and pry the hose off? And if so, whoever glued the hose on is an ass.

Was able to pry them off after about 15 minutes with a flathead as a wedge, thanks.

Now I've run into a stripped bolt head and idk if I'm going to be able to get it off. The bolt for the bracket on the lower plenum is stripped and since it's within the bracket assembly there isn't really any way to get purchase on it. I've tried using a rubber band inside the socket head but that didn't work. Is there a way around this or am I out of luck here?

Use a 6 point socket, if no work, use extractor socket.
