Ahhh gotcha. I’m currently in the midst of a horrible dilemma trying to decide if I’m going to get the Maxx’s for my next tire or not. I’ve been agonizing over it lol

They are amazing tires. Ran them for a while and have never had anything that handled deep snow and wet roads as well as they did... and I'm on my 12th different set of tires on this tacoma alone... I changed frequently before it became a trail rig only.

That’s super helpful. The raving reviews about how good they are on wet pavement has been a big reason I’m thinking about getting them. I’m between skinny Maxx’s and 285/75/16 Cooper discoverer XLTs. It’s a tough choice. I do a lot of long looong drives and I keep hearing the Maxx’s are pretty loud.

Damn that’s nuts. I’m running Grabbers right now but they’re starting to get loud “AF” as the kids say and they’re a little small for my taste now that I have the Bilsteins on my truck (265/75/16).

I would (and will always) recommend skinnies! That is what I used to run and lived them. Now I "technically" run 34's but they measure out to skinny 35's.

I need to hurry up and stop screwing with this trailer so I can knock out the next two projects on the truck! Need to trim some fenders and change out the a/c condenser before the next trip!

I’ve noticed that everyone who has run skinnies swears by them! It makes me feel like I should go with the 255’s.

I’m just afraid that I would hate the look because I really love wider tires. I also know that I shouldn’t be picking tires based on looks.

All I ever had on my jeep and trucks was big wide tires like 36.5 x 15.5’s and lived them still like the looks better but I can’t deny the performance I’ve got out of these skinnier tires n all conditions

LOL I’m here. Bring your trailer to Kentucky so we can see. See if the welds actually hold up…
