Hey everyone, I really like the look of the 4 runner style roof rack and was wondering if there would be any issue custom making one for a 2nd gen with cap? I am thinking a single piece that uses mounting points on the cab and the cap. Has anyone else done this or is there a company that makes them?

Are you saying you want a way of connecting something across the roof of the truck to a shell?

Yeah I didn't explain it that well, is there an issue with flexing if there was a rack that was mounted to both the cab and the cap?

Kind of. The bed and cab definitely move quite a bit when off roading.
