well, the wife and i filed our taxes today..finally and we are getting back much more than we expected..so we are deciding to treat ourselves

my treat is going to be the OME lift kit...however, i dont really want to get tires just yet...atleast not till mine are bad and need replacing..

so, i know performance, ride quality, etc wont be effecting by keeping my 265/75/16s bfg a/ts, but does anybody think it may look odd having smaller than 285s? i know its really only .5" on each end of the tire...

any thoughts...anybody running 32s with 3" of lift care to share pics?

I'm running a 3" Lift with 265/75/16s and it doesn't look bad...I will be upgrading to 285s though once these tires wear out. Heres a pic :)

I switch from my 265's to 285's pretty regular depending on how far my trip is.... and in my truck you can definitely feel the difference from the two. Drive it like a racecar with 265, but with the 285's im like a grandpa... just thought i would throw that out there.

You'll be fine until you get new tires down the road. I say go for it!

They are Moto Metal M0957. Love them. Looked at a lot of different pics on here and on different sites and no regrets on my choice.

Yeah, my bad guys. I had my stock 265s on before these and only thing I noticed was the gap between the rear tire and the bottom of the wheel well on the truck bed was kind of big. Front didn't look too bad. But also think this had to do with the fact that the tires I had were street tires not A/T or M/Ts. Definitely don't think it would look bad with a nice A/T or M/T 265. Just my opinion.
