Happy St. Patrick’s day to me! Leer 100XR in Lunar Rock Installed today! After the Yakima skyline tower rack install with rod vault on top, I have about 2inches of clearance left to get it into the garage! It’s also 100% boy approved, which is the most important part!

For those with a Leer 100XR, does the inside window have a 'handle' so you can slide it open?

On mine, the 'handle' is only on the outside part, so if i want to open it, i have to open the cab slider first, then reach in and open the leer window.

Is my removeable window "flipped" maybe?

Yikes, that sucks. Fortunately mine doesn’t have anything like that (that I’ve found).

You’ll have to either disable the cap latch or remember to keep it from latching. A zip tie with the buckle under the latch might do the trick.

I don't think there is a latch for the front window.

Mine is fine. I wouldn't accept that. It's new make them take it back or $$$ off the price. QC on caps sucks.

This shell doesn't have an actual latch on the front slider, it's held closed by compression from spring-type things in the track. So you could open it from the other side as long as you have something to grip.

    Ended up returning the shell.

    Although I had it since Sept/Oct 2022.
It’s constantly had leak problems from windows. (replaced window once/then sent to factory for warranty repair) then, came back with that screw damage on the window frame…
Dealer talked to the ARE rep. and got an approval for a full refund.

I’ll prob end up going all out on Topo Camper instead… since my dealer told me RSI SmartCap has been on a wait since July 2022, and still have not received a single unit.

Picked up a cement leer 100r from a member on here for cheap with a hole through the top. It’s been a slow process but finishing up painting and getting ready to throw it back on. Anybody know where I can find the black vinyl I see on some of them that goes around the edge of the cap like this? Also here are some pictures of the random progress

That black on the front edge of the shell is what ARE calls OTR coating. It's basically bedliner like Line-x. That particular shell just has the accent stripe done, but they also offer to coat the entire shell:
