Does the wiring already exist, like many other options, or does Toyota simply make the access cab differently in this regard?

I'd really like a power window, as I physically can't reach around while driving to open and close it. Couple that with recovery from a dislocated shoulder and it's impossible.

Does Toyota have this as an add on option after delivery, or is there a company out there making such a thing.

I've done multiple searches on the forum and online, and I think the answer is no, but you guys are way more up to speed than most.

Anytime sir. Thought about it for 7 seconds but I have a single cab so would be more of a lazy thing for me

It looks like a major project that's more hassle than it's worth - I'll just have to stop, slide the window, then carry on.

Yeah that window isn’t worth the hassles.

Window fit$, but no idea if Access Cab has holes or proper space to accommodate the electric motor. Securing locations for relays are there, so is the fuse slot and connector. Switch location is missing, so selected location would have to be modified for fitment.

I had a power rear slider in my last 4 Fords, and I honestly don’t think I ever opened them other then when I first got the truck just try out the button . Never had a need or desire to open my rear slider . Now I have an access cab with no power slider , but I can easily reach it . But it hasn’t been opened yet either . Lol

It's the reason I ordered my access cab back in 2020 with one. Learned long ago when I bought my gen1 tundra without a power sliding rear window, if you want those options, let the manufacture put them there.

At least let us know you attempted to research your Access cab for the motor securing location...

Ugh..not for $800 in parts. My access cab rear window is gonna stay comfortably manual, just like my transmission.

Dealer charge me a $400 option for the power slider rear window for my 2020 sr5 access cab. I used that rear slider quite often last summer to get more ventilation in the truck instead of the ac.

I read through three threads, one of which was for gen2 -- too much McGyver for me

Since the last fella posted he got one for his access cab, I think it's safe to say the securing locations are there. So that's a "big" hurdle not to worry anymore. The access cab has the fuse and connector to the rear passenger door (x2) like the 4 door. So the required fused juice is also available.

Safelight could have the rear sliding glass "cheaper" than the dealer...a pair of 5 pin relays would handle the juice to open/closed feature powered by the fused source of the rear doors.
It's a connector behind the passenger's kick panel:
    upload_2023-4-10_9-51-38.jpg
And it's the same connector for Taco with the rear sliding window:

Wish there was a full rear window roll down conversion like the Tundra has - absolute favorite feature of the Tundra. $800 in parts + numerous hours of labor for a small electric sliding piece is not worth it. I'll just have to pull it open before I start my drive.
