Checked out a Tacoma, felt like I didn't fit in it.

I am 5'11" as well and it's a tight fit. My left knee always hits the lower part of the dash. If I hadn't done some mods I'd trade in for the Tundra.

5'11" ~180 / 185LBS and I fit great and find the truck very comfortable. However, that is me and we are all are obviously and fine different things comfortable or not. I would NOT purchase vehicle that did "feel" right.

Every Toyota truck I've ever owned, mostly the 80's-90's models and now the 22', have always been a little awkward to get in. Small price to pay and you get used to it quick. I have never regretted buying a small sized Toyota, ever...

I am 6-5 at 265lbs and jam myself into a second gen cab whenever I drive it. Other vehicle is a Suburban on 1tons. Has all the room that I need, but has cost me a small fortune to keep it running.

Second gen cabs seem more forgiving, i don't slam my knee and the side of my head when i get into my 2nd gen; when i get into a 3rd gen though...over half the time i hit something. I love the third gen once in, but getting in an adventure. Like other have said, the right leg has to contort oddly to get in smoothly

I'm 6' and 182 lbs and I know what you're talking about. I've had my truck about 6 weeks now and I'm adapting slowly. I've had to "learn" how to do it. I had the seat raised during my test drive and I was bumping my head and having to crouch to get in. Then put the seat at its lowest position and notched the steering wheel up a bump or two. It took some playing around, but I think I've got it. There IS still a bit of squirming to get the legs under the steering wheel. Nature of the Taco, I guess.

I'm 5' 10'' also at a 190 lbs, and adjusted the power seat well enough it's not a big issue getting in, and out of the truck. I came from a tundra where you do get spoiled with the amount of seating room thats available.

I'm 6', 34" pants length. Pretty comfortable in mine. Easier to get in and out of than my first gen was, Frontier was easier even though the cab was smaller.

If it were me and I found it uncomfortable, I wouldn't buy it. If you cant stomach the new Tundra, then F-150 or Silverado would be my choice. I like the Tacoma, and I like Toyota, but I aint married to any of them if they uncomfortable enough to post on a forum asking how people can do it. I'm not entirely convinced that the new Toyotas are the same as the old Toyotas. All the trucks at work are Fords, most of the guys I work with drive Chevy, none have had an appreciable amount of repairs.

I'm pretty much the exact same size as the O.P. I have a 2022 and have just learned to live with the seating position. My greatest wish is that the steering wheel would telescope out more than it already does - it's just not far enough. My other gripe is the cloth seats are not soft and I've been spoiled by the nice leather of my wife's Lexus.... One day I may have to upgrade the seats.

Everything will seem small coming from a Tundra

I'm 6-3 / 215 lbs and anything bigger than my 2015 feels too big

6-4 250 no problems. Can’t even put the seat back all the way. And about 3 to 4 inches from the roof.

I am oddly shaped, long legs and short torso.
If I put the seat back for my legs to be happy, then my shoulders and arms suffer and visa versa. It seems there is no middle ground on this 3rd gen. I really miss my 2nd gen:angrygirl:
