Any differences in LCAs between 2wd and 4wd?

All the '16-'23 LCAs are the the same amongst the different models, since Toyota killed off 5-luggers for 3rd gen. Just pay attention and avoid the '05-'15 LCAs.

eBay LCAs can be sketchy in general if they use a no-name ball joint, but that's outside the scope of this thread.

Being in NH, unless you had previously pulled the cam bolts to grease them, your cam bolts are likely seized. If they are, you will need a stack of sawzall blades and replacement cam bolts ($$$).

 

Ahh I see. I do have a 2nd gen as well or I did as I have it to my son a few years back when I got the 3rd gen. But as you can see in the pics I sent, for a 3rd gen they have the same part number in the computer so I think I’m all set. So eBay ordering is in my future for some new LCAs. All so I can do alignment and then weld on some marlin crawler LCA brace kit. To never have to do an alignment again.

 

yup they are seized which is why I want to replace. Well weird it’s only the passenger side that is seized. Wheeling up here in NH is what has done it in for me. eBay yes is sketchy I agree with you. But also the most affordable to get with out going brand new from factory. Will only be buying from a 5star seller.

 

There are 3 types of lower control arm for the 2005-2023 Tacoma. 5-lug are a very different design compared with 6-lug.

2005-2015 6-lug are basically the same as 2016-2023 6-lug with different bushings (smaller inner diameter for larger adjustment cam bolts).

The ability of various online parts catalogs to verify a part "Fits this VIN" is suspect at best. You can't trust it either way, ever.
