I’ll be honest I’m new to the whole car world and I’ve recently become interested.
What would the process look like to fix the deep cuts I’ve got in my truck’s body. You can see in my pictures I’ve got deep gashes from my bed to the cab. There’s also some rust spots and decently faded paint on the hood and roof. I’m really hoping I can make it pretty again and that fixing those issues are feasible.

First two pictures are on my OG post: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/new-member-intro.798366/

I would like to know if anything could be done to make the truck pretty again.
    Thanks!

You could just have the bad areas and the scratch repainted but since the clear and the paint on the whole truck is tired, it will look off to have freshly painted areas faded areas next to one another. If you want a good job, unfortunately, the best thing would be a full repaint.

Another option would be a wrap on the hood and roof but for that scratch, you'll need a repaint there.

The thing with paintjobs is that you really get what you pay for. 10k jobs are jobs where they completely tear down the truck, like a complete restoration. It's up to you if you really need this type of job, but you can get a decent job for 3k-5k.
