The lead in the paint stunted his growth, that’s why he still needs a booster seat

Yeahhhh was like that when I bought it, bought a new one but looks like a pain in the ass to replace so it's on the back burner.

It is. I watched the scrap guys take the motorized one off @Tour991 ’s fender and it took them a good 20 minutes. This is with the fender off.

Tried hiding the fact that I rolled up to the new job in a shitbox. Supervisor still noticed.

When I got my 4runner my boss/the company CFO was like "wait....so you bought an even older vehicle than your truck?" , He was legitimately perplexed. He drives a brand new fully loaded Range Rover so it was not a concept I expected him to understand lol

Like me explaining to people that I’m driving a 99 Tacoma with 300K+ to fix my 04 Tacoma with less than half the miles. They can’t and never will be able to understand.

That CFO has probably been driving something almost brand new his whole life.

I did the one on my 100. It's one of those things that's not difficult, it's just annoying. Like doing a window motor. You just don't wanna.

It passed inspection therefore I drive it

The garage is a lot cleaner than that these days, and I have an even crappier tundra

Appreciate that, but it looks like the entire cord was removed. I bought a replacement assembly but it looks like I'll need to take the fender off to get to it so I've been putting it off.

Fuck that guy. I know he's your boss and all, but he has no business even thinking that shit.

I'm sure he has no concept of what it's like to work on and maintain your own vehicle. He would not be in an RR if he did.

Spokane car group Facebook is a shit show as it should be. But some truth was spoken today. Dude was asking if a mechanic would rebuild his 3VZ long block and what the rates are. One of the better local diy Toyota guys just said straight up "I've stopped doing work on the 3.0, anyone who still has one doesn't have the money to get the job done right"

That's why I love my boss. He drives a speccd Range Rover, a Mercedes SL, and ownes a multi million dollar house and insane cabin property (that I've been to), but he grew up poor. Last year he couldn't stop bitching about his tractor that he kept having to fix (himself) lmao
