Looks different from what iv seen, the last one i saw was you hold it down for 1 or 2 sec to change to locked on. or click twice
to bad you don't really explain what you are doing or how many thing it can do. watching the video helps but it doesn't explain much. Cool but my way was only $5 A switch and a diode. simple (yours can do more thou)

Mostly because people don’t use them correctly. Also they make black ones for thinner gauge wire. 18-22. You can also slightly pinch them if needed too. They haven’t been around for 45 years. I’ve used them professionally for 20. Only issues I’ve ever had or seen were the fault of the installer.

Obviously there are application you want to avoid using them. But IMO they are better than pozi taps or scotch locks

I did something similar last year for the OEM camera. Has been rock solid since the install. Use the camera button all the time now that its on the knob

Details can be found in this post.

Hey all, I'm a long time reader and first time poster,
I've been using the stealth switches in my shifter handle since last summer when I drove up to Yuba to visit Meso-Customs. I have a cool application for that second switch that you or someone else may like. I bought a back up beeper from Amazon for like $20 or less and mounted it up under the truck bed behind the rear bumper. I wired it to the rear backup lights (easy to find the wire as I have the VLEDS back up light frame thing). I ran the wire up through the floor board through a plug that I sealed with silicon to that right side switch. I had tested the amp draw and there was no need for a relay. Now the backup beep can only happen if two things happen at the same time to complete the circuit. I have to be in reverse and be pressing the button. I love the mod for fun sometimes I'll beep it for my friends, yes I'm that guy. Also, for safety like in a crowed parking lot like after a concert, I only need to beep like 2 or 3 times. God knows I don't want to hit anyone! Anyways hope this helps someone.
P.S. Doesn't any one else use the heat gun solder type wiring butt connectors? They are the Bomb! Found on Amazon.

It looks like the two whites are tied together for the ground. The yellow and blue are separate.

Anyone know if there’s any plan to have these stealth knobs available again from meso?

or if there’s another option out there?
